UAE, 3 May, 2024 : The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) is set to dispatch a trade mission to India on May 5, aimed at fostering investment opportunities and strengthening bilateral ties. Led by SCCI Chairman Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, the delegation includes several officials, including Waleed Abdul Rahman Bukhatir and Ziyad Mohmoud Khairalla.
Scheduled from May 5-10, the mission will focus on promoting cooperation between Sharjah and India's business communities, aiming to enhance industrial and commercial exports from Sharjah. The agenda includes meetings with entrepreneurs in Chennai and Mumbai, site visits, and organizing business forums to facilitate communication between investors.
SCCI's commitment to bolstering economic ties between Sharjah and India is highlighted through this trade mission. The chamber aims to showcase investment opportunities in Sharjah, emphasizing governmental support and initiatives for foreign investors. The ongoing collaboration between Sharjah and India contributes to the region's economic growth.
The trade mission underscores SCCI's dedication to building sustainable partnerships with the Indian business community. With an estimated 18,500 Indian companies operating in Sharjah, the SCCI aims to attract further Indian investments, reflecting the ongoing efforts of Sharjah's business sectors.
