RAKEZ Boosts UAE-India Economic Ties at Jaipur Business Event

UAE, 3 May, 2024 : Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) recently participated in a business event in Jaipur, India, organized by the UAE-India CEPA Council and the Confederation of Indian Industry. The event aimed to promote bilateral trade and investment opportunities, focusing on fostering economic cooperation across various sectors.

Representatives from RAKEZ, alongside entities from Ras Al Khaimah, engaged in discussions with over 30 Indian businesses. They highlighted Ras Al Khaimah's strategic advantages in key industries like tourism, manufacturing, startups, real estate, and technology, showcasing the benefits of investing in the region.

RAKEZ Group CEO Ramy Jallad emphasized the fruitful discussions with Indian entrepreneurs and industry leaders. He reaffirmed RAKEZ's commitment to enhancing Ras Al Khaimah's economic landscape by promoting its strategic location and robust infrastructure to facilitate business growth and success.

During the event, targeted meetings explored potential collaborations in sectors such as chemicals, building materials, IT, renewable energy, healthcare, and technology. Discussions focused on forging partnerships in emerging fields like artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.

RAKEZ's active participation in global events underscores its role as a facilitator of international business and economic development. With over 23,000 companies, including more than 5,300 Indian enterprises, RAKEZ serves as a thriving business hub, attracting renowned companies from various industries.
