UAE, 20 May, 2024 : An official UAE business delegation visited Benin from May 13-17, 2024, to bolster economic cooperation and partnerships in Africa. Organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), the delegation was led by Humaid Mohamed Bin Salem, Secretary-General of the FCCI.
The UAE delegation held high-level meetings with Beninese ministers, senior officials, and business leaders to discuss enhancing trade and investment in sectors such as artificial intelligence, fisheries, agriculture, infrastructure, energy, and metals. The delegation included representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, FCCI, Edge Group, and E20.
