Kuwait, 28 May, 2024 : UAE, 27 May, 2024 : Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah Al-Yahya, engaged in discussions with Chinese officials aimed at enhancing relations and advancing mega development projects. The meeting, held at the ministry headquarters, included discussions with the Chinese Ambassador to Kuwait, Zhang Jianwei, and a delegation from the Chinese government tasked with consulting on joint development projects.
According to a statement from the Foreign Ministry, the talks focused on strengthening bilateral relations and strategic cooperation between Kuwait and China. Both sides explored ways to enhance relations across various sectors and levels.
Discussions delved into the execution of mega development projects in Kuwait, emphasizing the importance of technical, development, and economic ties. The need for proposals and strategies to realize the goals of the political leadership and launch strategic ventures, notably Mina Mubarak Al-Kabeer port, were also addressed.
