UAE, 31 May, 2024 : The SCCI recently hosted the "Sharjah-India Business Forum," inviting Indian firms to capitalize on the lucrative investment opportunities available in Sharjah. Highlighting the emirate's dynamic business environment, the Chamber urged Indian businesses to consider Sharjah as their base for commercial and industrial activities.
During the forum, SCCI emphasized Sharjah's attractive incentives, advanced infrastructure, and promising market, driven by economic diversification and investment in vital sectors. The event followed a visit by a business delegation from India's PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) to explore strategic sectors like fintech, agriculture, healthcare, and information technology.
Attended by high-profile dignitaries including Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI, the forum aimed to foster trade exchange and business interactions between Sharjah and India. Fatima Khalifa Al Muqarrab, Director of SCCI's International Relations Department, emphasized the strong economic relations between the UAE and India, focusing on sustainable growth and economic competitiveness.
The forum facilitated bilateral business meetings between Emirati and Indian companies, paving the way for potential partnerships and collaborations across various economic fields.
