Oman and Sweden Pursue Stronger Bilateral Relations

Oman, 5 June, 2024 :  The Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Sweden convened to review and enhance bilateral relations across various sectors. Political talks between the two sides took place at the general Diwan of the Foreign Ministry, highlighting their shared commitment to bolster cooperation.

Led by Munthir Mahfoudh Al Manthiri, Head of the Europe Department at the Omani Foreign Ministry, and Dag Juhlin-Dann, Director General and Head of the Global Department of the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the session delved into regional and international issues of mutual concern. Topics included the aftermath of the Israeli war on Gaza.

The discussions were attended by officials from both delegations, reflecting the significance both countries place on strengthening their ties.
