UAE, 12 June, 2024 :Â The World Bank's latest Global Economic Prospects report predicts the UAE's real GDP will grow by 3.9% in 2024 and rise to 4.1% in 2025. This April 2024 forecast update marks an increase from the January prediction of 3.7% growth for 2024.
Economic growth in the Middle East and North Africa is expected to reach 2.8% in 2024 and 4.2% in 2025. The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries are forecasted to see growth strengthen to 2.8% in 2024 and 4.7% in 2025.
Oil-exporting economies are projected to grow by 2.9% in 2024 and 4.2% in 2025, while oil-importing countries are expected to see growth rates of 2.9% and 4% for the same years.
