Qatar, 12 June, 2024 : The Prime Minister underscored the strategic significance of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, both regionally and globally. He highlighted the cooperation and constructive consultation among these nations, aimed at fostering partnerships with friendly countries and other regional and international entities.
He emphasized the relentless efforts of GCC countries in strengthening relations and strategic dialogues across political, security, economic, commercial, environmental, and developmental domains.
The PM highlighted the GCC council's vision for regional security, adopted by the Ministerial Council in Doha, which includes an action program to bolster collective security, safety, and efforts to ease tensions in the region.
Commencing his address with congratulations to the leaders of GCC countries on the 43rd anniversary of the council's founding, he praised their leadership and wise guidance in realizing the aspirations of Gulf nations and their people.
On the sidelines of the Gulf ministerial meeting, separate joint ministerial sessions were conducted between the GCC countries and the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Yemen.
