UAE, 11 July, 2024 : His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, chaired the Ministerial Development Council meeting at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.
The council addressed several government initiatives and projects, focusing on education, securities, and culture sectors, along with regulations of the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). They also reviewed reports on financial markets, the Centre of Excellence for Applied Research & Training (CERT), and cultural initiatives.
Legislative discussions included updates on federal economic and financial laws. The council also considered Federal National Council (FNC) recommendations for supporting the industrial sector and reviewing value-added and excise tax systems.
