UAE, 12 July, 2024 : The Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services (CAC) have signed an agreement to enhance economic cooperation and increase trade and investment between Ras Al Khaimah and Argentina.
The agreement focuses on developing trade, economic, scientific, and technical relations between private sector representatives in both regions. It includes organizing trade missions and encouraging participation in trade fairs and economic events.
The agreement was signed by Mohamed Mosbeh Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce, and Omar Haffar, President of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services.
Al Nuaimi emphasized the Chamber's commitment to providing services that promote joint business cooperation in various investment sectors. He noted that trade between Ras Al Khaimah and Argentina reached approximately AED 37 million in 2022, nearly tripling from the previous year, with imports comprising a significant portion.
Haffar highlighted CAC's enthusiasm for the agreement, citing Ras Al Khaimah's strategic location and favorable economic and investment regulations, which make it a prime investment destination globally.
