Bahrain, 22 July, 2024 : Dr. Khalid Fahad Al Alawi, Assistant Undersecretary for Industrial Development at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, led Bahrain's delegation at the Caucasus Investment Forum 2024 in Chechen. The event, patronized by Chechen Republic Head Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov, saw over 3,000 participants from 30+ countries.
Al-Alawi highlighted Bahrain's participation as a testament to the strong bilateral relations with Chechen Republic, bolstered by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's recent visit to Russia. He emphasized Bahrain's commitment to enhancing cooperation in various fields.
Al-Alawi also stressed the importance of economic cooperation, particularly in sectors aligned with Bahrain's industrial strategy (2022-2026). Key areas include pharmaceuticals, food industries, semiconductors, renewable energy, and manufacturing in aluminum and petrochemicals. He underscored the value of exchanging knowledge and leveraging technology for sustainable industrial innovation and increased productivity.
