UAE, 19 August, 2024 : Dubai Chambers and the China Construction Bank (CCB) – DIFC Branch have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing investment cooperation and supporting Chinese companies looking to expand in Dubai. The agreement will foster the exchange of knowledge and expertise between both parties, driving bilateral cooperation and boosting Dubai’s reputation as a global business hub.
The MoU was signed by Hassan Al Hashemi, Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chambers, and Wei Luo, General Manager of CCB – DIFC Branch, at the Dubai Chambers headquarters. This partnership aligns with the 40th anniversary of UAE-China diplomatic relations and underscores China’s significance as a key global economic player.
The agreement also sets the stage for further trade collaboration between Dubai and China, paving the way for stronger business ties. The MoU comes ahead of the Dubai Business Forum – China, scheduled for 21st August in Beijing, which aims to attract Chinese companies to explore growth opportunities in Dubai.
