UAE, 22 August, 2024 : The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has unveiled the “Digital Consultation” initiative, supporting the UAE government’s Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme aimed at enhancing living standards and fostering a business-friendly environment.
The initiative invites customers to share their feedback and ideas via the UAE Government portal to improve the efficiency and flexibility of the Ministry’s services. It seeks to boost customer participation in decision-making and encourage innovative ideas to streamline government procedures. A “Zero Bureaucracy” questionnaire has also been introduced to gather feedback from diverse customer groups.
H.E. Younis Haji Al Khoori, Undersecretary of MoF, emphasized that the Digital Consultation initiative aligns with the UAE’s vision of becoming a global leader in digital government services. He noted that customer feedback will be instrumental in shaping action plans to reduce bureaucracy, supporting both the “We UAE 2031” vision and “UAE Centennial 2071” goals.
The questionnaire focuses on evaluating current procedures, identifying complex services, and gathering proposals to enhance efficiency. The initiative complements the Ministry’s customer councils, launched earlier to better understand customer experiences and explore service innovations.
