UAE, 22 August, 2024 : The Abu Dhabi Chamber has announced a 24% increase in the issuance of certificates of origin, reflecting the emirate’s expanding export activities. In partnership with Etihad Credit Insurance (ECI), the Chamber released a report titled “Expanding Your Export Opportunities – Supporting Private Sector’s Exports,” highlighting efforts to enhance trade and boost the UAE’s global presence.
The report identified the top 10 export markets for Chamber members, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and the US. The UAE’s non-oil foreign trade with countries holding Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreements (CEPAs) reached AED 390 billion by the end of 2023, contributing to robust growth in trade volumes.
Additionally, the Chamber recorded a 20.60% year-on-year increase in registered companies, emphasizing its role in fostering a business-friendly environment and expanding international trade.
