UAE, 28 August, 2024 : The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has introduced several innovative initiatives under the "Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme," including the launch of the 'Zero Bureaucracy Ideas Award' and brainstorming sessions aimed at improving government services.
Empowering Employees
His Excellency Younis Haji Al Khoori, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, highlighted the Ministry's commitment to simplifying government procedures and enhancing service delivery. The initiatives aim to involve MoF employees in developing solutions that align with the UAE’s strategic goals, including the ‘We UAE 2031’ vision and ‘UAE Centennial 2071’ goals.
Encouraging Innovation
The 'Zero Bureaucracy Ideas Award' is designed to motivate employees to propose innovative ideas that streamline procedures. These ideas will be evaluated by a team of specialists, with the most impactful suggestions implemented.
Interactive Platform
The Ministry has also launched the "Zero Bureaucracy" webpage, offering a platform for employees and customers to suggest improvements. This digital page facilitates the collection and analysis of ideas, ensuring the continuous development of government services.
These initiatives are part of the broader effort to reduce bureaucracy and enhance efficiency across government entities, following the UAE’s mandate to eliminate unnecessary procedures and reduce service timeframes by the end of 2024.
