UAE, 29 August, 2024 : Dubai and Abu Dhabi have secured the top two spots on the Savills Executive Nomad Index, driven by the UAE's modern infrastructure and high quality of life. Dubai maintained its lead for the second year, while Abu Dhabi climbed two positions to rank second, according to a new report by the London Stock Exchange-listed real estate firm.
Andrew Cummings, Head of Residential Agency - Middle East at Savills, highlighted the appeal of both cities for executive nomads, noting their dynamic business environments and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
The Savills Executive Nomad Index ranks 25 global destinations for long-term remote workers. Other cities in the top ten include Málaga, Miami, Lisbon, Barcelona, and Palma. The list also features Barbados, Algarve, and Saint Lucia.
Kelcie Sellers, Associate Director at Savills World Research, pointed out that executive nomads are typically older and more likely to travel with families, placing greater importance on factors like safety, healthcare, and education.
