KSA, 2 September, 2024 : The Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council convened in Riyadh on Sunday, co-chaired by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring new areas of cooperation.
Prince Faisal welcomed Sheikh Mohammed and his delegation, emphasizing the meeting's goal of advancing the mutual aspirations of both countries’ leaderships. He highlighted the Coordination Council’s role in aligning with Saudi Arabia's and Qatar’s Vision 2030 plans.
Sheikh Mohammed praised the efforts of the council's committees in updating initiatives and setting actionable milestones. He noted the meeting as a key step in deepening bilateral relations and implementing joint initiatives effectively.
The General Secretariat team of the council reviewed progress from the past session, and Prince Faisal and Sheikh Mohammed signed the meeting’s minutes. Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan and Eng. Fahad Al-Harthy also attended the session.
The meeting underscored the commitment of both nations to enhance cooperation and achieve strategic objectives outlined by their leaders.
