Oman, 4 September, 2024 : The Oman-India Business Forum, organized by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), convened in Muscat to explore joint investment opportunities.
Eng. Ridha Juma Al Saleh, OCCI Board Member, highlighted the forum's role in connecting Omani and Indian businesses. Key sectors discussed included food security, building materials, petroleum, pharmaceuticals, jewelry, textiles, and plastics.
Al Saleh noted significant growth in bilateral trade, with commercial exchange valued at RO 1.2 billion ($3.1 billion) by the end of 2024. The forum facilitated bilateral meetings to enhance cooperation, share expertise, and assess investment opportunities.
