Qatar, 10 September, 2024 : At the joint meeting of the Executive Office and the Board of Directors of the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Berlin, Qatar Chamber Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani highlighted the growing economic ties between Qatar and Germany.
In 2023, trade exchange between the two countries reached QR 7.1 billion, up 4.4% from QR 6.8 billion in 2022. Sheikh Khalifa noted the broader trend of increasing Arab-German trade, which grew 20% last year to exceed 60 billion euros.
The meeting also focused on enhancing trade and industrial cooperation between Arab nations and Germany.
