Kuwait and Malaysia Enhance Economic Cooperation During High-Level Visit

Kuwait, 11 September, 2024 : Sheikh Mubarak Abdullah Mubarak Al-Sabah, Vice Chairman of Action Group Holdings, highlighted the unique Malaysian economic experience and its potential as a model in Asia and the Islamic world. During a dinner at the White Palace honoring His Highness Tengku Sulaiman Shah Al-Haj, Head of The Diwan of the Ruler of the State of Selangor, Sheikh Mubarak praised the growth in Kuwaiti-Malaysian relations, noting promising developments in economic and commercial ties.

The event was attended by Malaysian Ambassador Alauddin Muhammad Nor, embassy officials, leading members of the Malaysian community, and Kuwaiti businessmen. Sheikh Mubarak affirmed Kuwait's commitment to enhancing economic relations and stimulating trade cooperation with Malaysia, benefiting both economies.

His Highness Tengku Sulaiman Shah Al-Haj, accompanied by a delegation of Malaysian business leaders from various sectors, discussed revitalizing trade and economic relations with Kuwaiti economists and businessmen. The delegation, starting their regional visit in Kuwait, plans to continue discussions in the UAE and Qatar to explore investment opportunities and strengthen bilateral relations.
