Qatar, 18 September, 2024 : The 13th economic dialogue between the GCC and the EU kicked off in Doha, Qatar, on Monday, focusing on enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, and sustainable energy.
Qatari Assistant Undersecretary for Economic Affairs, Dr. Saud Al-Attiyah, emphasized the dialogue's role in exploring opportunities for collaboration. GCC Assistant Secretary General, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Uwaisheg, noted the key challenges.
The dialogue, which has been held since 2003, aims to boost economic cooperation and exchange expertise between the two regions. The first EU-GCC summit at the leaders' level is set for October in Brussels.
