Oman, 19 September, 2024 : Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Oman's Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, met with Douglas Alexander, UK Minister of State for Trade Policy and Economic Security, to explore ways to strengthen cooperation in commerce, industry, and investments.
The discussions focused on increasing trade exchange and investment between the two nations, alongside ongoing negotiations for a GCC-UK free trade agreement.
Presentations highlighted the strong Oman-UK relations and showcased Oman Vision 2040, including investment opportunities, recent economic developments, and investor-friendly laws. The meeting was attended by officials from both sides.
