Doha, Qatar, January 3, 2024 : The General Tax Authority (GTA) has set the submission window for the tax year ending December 31, 2023, from January 1 to April 30, 2024. All companies with a commercial register or license must comply, regardless of commercial activity. The Dhareeba portal facilitates streamlined submissions for eligible companies.
The mandate applies to entities under Act No. 24 of 2018, covering all ownership structures, including those owned by Qataris or GCC nationals, tax-exempt, or with non-Qatari partners. Jassim Mohammed Al Karani, GTA's Taxpayers Service Department Director, stressed the importance of timely compliance to avoid penalties.
In line with Qatar National Vision 2030, GTA aims to support taxpayers, investors, and the national economy through streamlined processes and active compliance measures.
