Saudi Finance Minister Joins High-Level Bretton Woods Institutions Retreat

KSA, 30 September, 2024 : His Excellency Mohammed Aljadaan, Saudi Minister of Finance, participated in the high-level retreat for Bretton Woods Institutions in New Hampshire, USA, on September 26-27, 2024. The event focused on the future of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank, addressing upcoming challenges.

Since their founding in 1944, the IMF and World Bank have played pivotal roles in promoting international economic cooperation and supporting global integration. This retreat aimed to define long-term strategic goals for both institutions, enhancing their impact amid global challenges like geopolitical tensions and economic disparities.
