Qatar and Cyprus Chambers Explore Opportunities for Economic Collaboration

Qatar, 02 October, 2024 : Qatar Chamber First Vice-Chairman Mohamed bin Twar Al Kuwari met with Stavros Stavrou, President of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and his delegation to explore ways to enhance economic ties between the two nations.

The meeting focused on improving communication between Qatari and Cypriot business communities to establish joint ventures and increase trade volume. They also discussed the potential for signing a memorandum of understanding between the two chambers.

Al Kuwari emphasized the strong relations between Qatar and Cyprus, expressing the Chamber's commitment to supporting Cypriot companies looking to invest in Qatar while encouraging Qatari investors to explore opportunities in Cyprus.

Stavrou highlighted Cyprus's significant development in recent years and underscored the importance of strengthening connections between businessmen from both countries to foster collaboration.
