UAE, 18 October, 2024 : The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) and the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) have strengthened their partnership to enhance electronic linkage in the "Tax Dispute System." This collaboration aims to streamline processes from the submission of tax disputes to referrals and the exchange of information, enabling efficient decision-making by relevant committees in accordance with UAE legislation.
His Excellency Engineer Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Hammadi emphasized the UAE’s balanced tax system, which follows global standards. He noted that the partnership supports the business community in adhering to tax laws, reinforcing the development of the judicial system that bolsters the national economy.
FTA Director General Khaled Ali Al Bustani highlighted the collaboration as part of FTA's strategy to build strong partnerships across the public and private sectors, contributing to the sustainable development of the tax system.
The partnership aims to improve data integration through electronic linkage, define roles to ensure business continuity, and enhance service quality. Both parties affirmed that this initiative aligns with their strategic objectives to boost institutional capacity and customer satisfaction.
