Bahrain, 21 October, 2024 : On the sidelines of the GCC Ambassadors’ FTA meetings in London, H.E. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Bahrain's Minister of Industry and Commerce, met with Rt Hon Douglas Alexander MP, British Minister of State for Trade Policy and Economic Security. The discussion focused on strengthening bilateral investment cooperation and exploring new opportunities to expand their economic partnership.
Minister Fakhro emphasized the UK's role as a key global investment partner and noted the steady growth in economic relations. He highlighted the importance of the upcoming Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the GCC and the UK, which is set to mark a significant milestone in trade and investment ties.
