UAE, 28 October, 2024 : The Dubai Chamber of Commerce has established the Korean Business Council to enhance economic relations and create opportunities between Dubai's private sector and the Republic of Korea.
The inaugural annual general meeting, recently held at Dubai Chambers, allowed participants to identify key priorities and outline plans for upcoming events. The council aims to strengthen economic cooperation between Dubai and Korea, focusing on promising sectors for both markets.
Maha Al Gargawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chambers, emphasized the importance of Business Councils in fostering cooperation and creating partnerships that support sustainable economic growth in Dubai.
These country-specific councils represent the interests of companies and investors from key markets, facilitating new economic cooperation channels and advancing investor interests in Dubai. The chamber aims to increase the number of Business Councils as part of its efforts to support the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) and promote foreign trade.
