UAE, 30 October, 2024 : Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services to foster collaboration between private sector companies in Dubai and Geneva. This partnership aims to leverage Dubai's status as a global export hub and investment destination, providing Geneva-based businesses with insights and opportunities to expand in the region.
Under the terms of the agreement, both chambers will support Dubai-based companies in their efforts to enter the Geneva market, focusing on key trade and investment sectors. Additionally, the MoU outlines plans to develop a platform for cross-cultural training and capacity building, enhancing business operations across different cultures and languages.
The signing ceremony, attended by leaders and officials from both organizations, was marked by remarks from Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, who emphasized the importance of fostering cross-border partnerships. Vincent Subilia, Director-General of the Geneva Chamber, highlighted the longstanding relationship between the two chambers and the opportunities this agreement creates for their members to innovate and expand.
This collaboration reflects Dubai's commitment to being a leading destination for investment and trade while strengthening its ties with key global markets.
