Kuwait, 4 November, 2024 : Kuwait and Oman signed nine memoranda of understanding (MoUs) and executive programs, marking an advancement in bilateral cooperation across various sectors. The agreements were finalized during a two-day official visit by Oman's Foreign Minister Bader Al-Buseidi, who attended the tenth session of the Kuwaiti-Omani joint committee.
Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya highlighted the importance of these agreements, which aim to strengthen historical ties and deepen strategic cooperation under the guidance of Kuwait’s Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tariq. The MoUs cover areas such as cultural exchange, maritime certification, consumer protection, land transport, agriculture, tourism, and religious affairs.
The partnership seeks to address regional challenges by bolstering security, stability, and sustainable development. Al-Yahya expressed optimism about future joint committee meetings to further enhance Kuwaiti-Omani ties and promote regional stability.
