UAE, 5 November, 2024 : The Ajman Chamber delegation met with the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC) to discuss enhancing economic cooperation and boosting trade between Ajman and Hong Kong. The talks focused on sectors including technology, logistics, energy, education, healthcare, real estate, e-commerce, artificial intelligence, and innovation.
Key attendees included Mahmoud Othman Al Shawareb from Ajman Chamber, Sophia Choi from the UAE Consulate, and Patrick Young, CEO of HKGCC. Al Shawareb highlighted Ajman's supportive infrastructure and diverse investment opportunities, aiming to attract more direct investments and showcase Ajman’s potential in sectors like AI and technology.
The HKGCC, represented by Young, expressed a strong interest in collaboration, recognizing Ajman’s strategic location and the UAE’s role as a global market. Both parties agreed on the importance of exchanging visits, organizing joint events, and establishing channels for ongoing cooperation to promote investment and economic growth.
