Bahrain Joins 40th COMCEC Session in Istanbul to Discuss Economic Cooperation

Bahrain, 6 November, 2024 : H.E. Ms. Eman Ahmed Al Doseri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, led Bahrain's delegation at the 40th session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC) in Istanbul, Turkey, held on November 4-5. The event was attended by H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Turkey and Chairman of COMCEC.

During a dialogue session, Al Doseri highlighted Bahrain’s leadership in digital transformation and e-payments, emphasizing the need for enhanced cooperation among OIC member countries to foster sustainable development and economic prosperity across the Islamic world.
