UAE, 7 November, 2024 : Italian Trade Commissioner to the UAE, Valerio Soldani, revealed that Italian companies are seeking to increase their presence in the UAE, with over 600 already established in the country. Soldani highlighted the significant contributions of these firms in delivering advanced technologies that foster innovation and support sustainable solutions across various sectors.
Soldani also emphasized that technology plays a crucial role in Italy's exports to the UAE, which grew by 10.4% in 2023, reaching $7 billion. Italian companies aim to boost exports to $8 billion by the end of 2024, marking a record high for 'Made in Italy' products in the UAE.
At ADIPEC 2024, over 150 Italian companies are participating, with 28 exhibitors supported by the Italian Trade Agency, showcasing Italy's expertise in technology, luxury, and consumer goods.
