UAE, 8 November, 2024 : The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has been awarded two prestigious ISO certifications, reinforcing its commitment to quality and excellence in operations. The FTA achieved the "ISO 31000:2018" certification for Risk Management Systems and the "ISO 44001:2017" certification for Collaborative Business Relationships Management Systems. The awards were presented to Mr. Jassim Al Zarouni, Director of Strategy and Future Department, in the presence of FTA Director General His Excellency Khaled Ali Al Bustani, by Mr. Nizar Bashaireh, CEO of Global Business Bureau.
HE Khaled Ali Al Bustani expressed that these certifications underscore the FTA’s dedication to elevating service standards and strengthening trust in its systems. "This achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to quality and our drive to align with international standards across all sectors,” he stated.
The ISO 31000:2018 certification enhances the FTA's risk management framework, enabling the organization to better anticipate and mitigate potential risks. Meanwhile, the ISO 44001:2017 certification formalizes FTA's collaborative processes with strategic partners, fostering sustainable partnerships that support innovation and growth.
With multiple ISO certifications in 2024, including those for IT services, information security, and quality management, the FTA continues to lead in regulatory excellence, aligning with its mission to enhance service quality and stakeholder trust.
