KSA, 8 November, 2024 : The Saudi Council of Economic and Development Affairs (CEDA) held a video conference on Thursday to discuss the impact of global economic challenges on the national economy. The meeting focused on the latest updates in both local and global economic developments for October 2024, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The Council reviewed the Kingdom’s progress in international rankings, including its top-tier classification in the 2024 United Nations Cybersecurity Index, a testament to the country’s commitment to Vision 2030. It also discussed the successful outcomes of the Saudi delegation’s participation in the inaugural Saudi-Brazilian International Aviation Conference, which led to key agreements and enhanced the Kingdom's aviation sector.
Additionally, CEDA addressed reports on performance indicators, local content, and government procurement, as well as updates on the National Program for Succession and Leadership Development. The meeting concluded with decisions on several economic reports, including those on foreign trade, wholesale prices, and consumer inflation for the first quarter of 2024.
