KSA, 13 November, 2024 : Saudi Arabia has advanced 22 positions in the World Bank's 2023 Statistical Performance Index (SPI), now ranking first in the Gulf and Arab regions and 14th among G20 nations, up from 18th in 2022.
The SPI evaluates 187 countries across five areas, including data sources, services, and infrastructure, with Saudi Arabia excelling in the fifth axis, achieving a 95% score in 2023. This progress supports the Kingdom's ability to generate high-quality statistical data, essential for informed policymaking and sustainable development plans.
