UAE, 15 November, 2024 : Dubai Chambers has signed two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the National Chamber of Commerce, Services, and Tourism (CANACO) in Mexico City and the El Gran Bajío business promotion agency. The agreements aim to support the expansion of Mexican businesses into Dubai and facilitate their growth within the emirate, while also helping Dubai-based companies enter the Mexican market.
Under the MoUs, Dubai Chambers will provide support to members of CANACO and El Gran Bajío, strengthening their investment capabilities and helping them use Dubai as a launchpad for regional and global market expansion. The agreements also aim to promote cooperation between the business communities in Dubai, Mexico City, and the Bajío region, fostering bilateral trade, investment, and partnerships.
The MoUs will focus on organizing trade fairs, investment missions, and conferences, as well as sharing economic data and information. Salem Al Shamsi, Vice President of Global Markets at Dubai Chambers, highlighted that these agreements will create new opportunities for trade and investment growth and help build partnerships across key sectors.
Dubai Chambers is committed to supporting the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which aims to double the emirate’s economy and position Dubai among the top three global cities.
