45th Meeting of Economic Committee Held by Ministry of Industry and Commerce and BCCI

Bahrain, 18 November, 2024 : The Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) convened the 45th Joint Economic Committee meeting at the BCCI headquarters. The session was chaired by H.E. Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, and BCCI Chairman H.E. Mr. Sameer bin Abdullah Nass.  

H.E. Mr. Fakhro emphasized Bahrain’s commitment to supporting the commercial and economic sectors, highlighting the private sector's vital contribution to GDP and the BCCI’s role in advancing initiatives that bolster the national economy.  

H.E. Mr. Nass underscored the importance of strategic public-private cooperation in achieving Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030, enhancing trade and industrial policies, and fostering a competitive business environment for entrepreneurs.  

The meeting reviewed key agenda items and followed up on topics from the previous session, reaffirming the partnership’s goal of sustainable economic growth.
