UAE, 21 November, 2024 : The Ministry of Finance (MoF) will host its first-ever dialogue with senior executives from national companies operating in the GCC on Tuesday, 24 September, in Dubai. The event aims to strengthen economic integration within the GCC.
Over 80 national companies will participate, with sessions led by key UAE entities focusing on the GCC Customs Union and the Gulf Common Market. Presentations will be delivered by the Ministries of Finance, Economy, and Industry, alongside the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security.
A private sector position paper will highlight ways to enhance the UAE’s export sector and maximise the benefits of the GCC economic agreements.
His Excellency Younis Haji Al Khoori, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, emphasized the dialogue’s role in fostering communication and cooperation for economic integration. The event will conclude with a panel discussion, gathering recommendations to guide future policies on Gulf economic initiatives.
