KSA, 21 November, 2024 : The Saudi Ministry of Finance, led by His Excellency Mr. Abdulaziz bin Saleh Alfuraih, Chairman of the Steering Committee, held two seminars with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Regional Office in Riyadh on November 11 and 19, 2024.
The first seminar focused on the IMF's "Regional Economic Outlook for the Middle East and Central Asia (REO)," reviewing regional economic developments and projections. The second seminar discussed the IMF's "Fiscal Monitor: Putting a Lid on Public Debt," highlighting risks related to public debt in emerging markets and developing economies.
The seminars provided a platform for experts from the Ministry of Finance, Saudi Central Bank, and financial institutions to exchange insights on economic challenges, fiscal policies, and the impacts of global uncertainties. Both reports are published biannually, offering economic analysis and policy recommendations.
