SAMA and Nazaha Sign Memorandum of Cooperation to Combat Financial Corruption

KSA, 21 November, 2024 : On November 20, 2024, the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) and the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) to enhance collaboration in addressing corruption crimes involving financial institutions under SAMA’s supervision.

The MoC, signed by SAMA Governor Mr. Ayman Al-Sayari and Nazaha President Mazin Al-Kahmous, aims to strengthen cooperation between the two authorities in line with relevant laws and procedures. The partnership seeks to integrate SAMA’s oversight powers with Nazaha’s mandate to combat corruption, supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
