Saudi Arabia and Tajikistan Establish Joint Business Council to Strengthen Trade and Investment

KSA, 26 November, 2024 : Saudi Arabia and Tajikistan have signed an agreement to establish a Saudi-Tajik Business Council, aimed at enhancing trade and investment relations. The agreement was signed in Riyadh by Hassan Al-Huwaizi, Chairman of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, and Jamshed Jumakhonzoda, Chairman of the Tajik Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The ceremony was attended by Tajikistan's First Deputy Prime Minister Hokim Kholiqzoda, Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih, and business leaders from both countries.

The new council will promote trade and investment across key sectors and serve as a platform for business communities in both nations to network, showcase activities, and foster commercial partnerships. It will also facilitate economic collaboration, organize exhibitions, conferences, and trade visits to strengthen bilateral ties and explore new business opportunities. This agreement represents a significant step towards deepening economic cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Tajikistan.
