Saudi Arabia and Djibouti Sign Investment Agreement to Strengthen Economic Ties

KSA, 27 November, 2024 : Saudi Arabia and Djibouti have signed an agreement to promote and protect mutual investments, enhancing economic cooperation between the two nations. The agreement was signed by Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih and Djiboutian Investment Minister Safia Mohamed Ali Gadileh during the 28th World Investment Conference in Riyadh.

The agreement aims to create a secure investment environment, offering protections such as fair treatment, transparency, and access to arbitration for dispute resolution. It seeks to support the Kingdom's and Djibouti's ambitious investment initiatives and strengthen economic ties between the two countries.

Both officials emphasized the agreement’s role in fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors, aiming to boost mutual investments across various sectors.
