UAE, 29 November, 2024 : The UAE Ministry of Finance (MoF) hosted the third session of the “Customer Councils” initiative in Dubai, part of the “Zero Government Bureaucracy” program aimed at streamlining government operations. The session, attended by Fatima Yousif Alnaqbi, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services Sector, and 50 representatives from public and private sectors, focused on enhancing customer experience and evaluating improvements in government services.
The initiative aligns with the UAE’s efforts to implement innovative government procedures, reduce bureaucracy, and improve efficiency. Key discussions revolved around compliance services with international financial organizations and government procurement processes.
His Excellency Younis Haji Al Khoori, Undersecretary of MoF, emphasized the Ministry's commitment to engaging stakeholders and designing efficient services. He highlighted the program's role in achieving the UAE’s “We the UAE 2031” and “UAE Centennial 2071” visions.
Launched in 2023, the “Zero Government Bureaucracy” program aims to simplify 2,000 procedures, cut processing times by 50%, and promote economic growth by eliminating unnecessary steps and enhancing service delivery efficiency.
