Riyadh to Host Third Zakat, Tax, and Customs Conference

KSA, 4 December, 2024 :  Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 4 December 2024: The third Zakat, Tax, and Customs Conference begins tomorrow at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center under the patronage of H.E. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority. The two-day event, themed "Shaping Tomorrow for a Sustainable Ecosystem," will feature officials, global experts, and industry leaders from public and private sectors.

The conference will explore global experiences in zakat, tax, and customs, focusing on digitization and fostering collaboration among stakeholders. Panel discussions on the first day include topics like economic recovery, sustainable growth, trade reforms, and international zakat practices.

Day two will address data-driven tax and customs administration, e-invoicing, multilateral tax agreements, and facilitating zakat compliance.

The event includes an exhibition with 90 booths, 70 workshops, and the signing of agreements to enhance regional trade and cross-border operations.
