Bahrain, 6 December, 2024 : The Ministry of Industry and Commerce has successfully passed the external audit for ISO 9001:2015 certification, reaffirming its commitment to international quality management standards. The Ministry has maintained this certification since 2002, consistently meeting audit requirements and adopting updates to enhance its quality systems.
H.E. Mr. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, attributed this achievement to ongoing efforts in improving systems, ensuring efficient service delivery, and mitigating operational risks. The Ministry prioritizes effective planning, internal audits, and continuous process improvement to align operations and meet stakeholder expectations.
The Ministry is also among Bahrain’s first to obtain the ISO 22301:2019 Business Continuity Certificate, underscoring its dedication to risk management and service sustainability. These efforts reflect the Ministry's focus on achieving excellence in government operations.
