Qatar, 10 December, 2024 : Qatar and the Dominican Republic have deepened their bilateral ties by signing key agreements during the visit of Dominican President Luis Rodolfo Abinader to Doha.
The two nations signed an agreement to promote and protect mutual investments, underscoring their commitment to strengthening economic ties. The central banks of both countries also inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance financial collaboration.
Additionally, the Ministries of Interior of Qatar and the Dominican Republic issued a joint statement to boost cooperation in security and crime prevention.
The signing ceremony, held in Doha, was attended by senior officials, ministers, and members of the official delegation accompanying the Dominican President. This milestone reflects the growing partnership between the two nations across diverse sectors.
