Oman and Qatar Strengthen Ties with Focus on Cooperation and Joint Investments

Oman, 12 December, 2024 : The Omani-Qatari Joint Committee convened its 23rd session today in Doha, highlighting efforts to strengthen bilateral ties and explore opportunities for joint investments. The meeting was co-chaired by Sultan Salim Al Habsi, Oman’s Minister of Finance, and Ali Ahmed Al Kuwari, Qatar’s Minister of Finance.

The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation across diverse sectors, including economy, trade, tourism, investment, industry, education, agriculture, banking, sports, and the environment. Both sides reiterated their commitment to advancing projects that contribute to mutual development and prosperity.

The committee also emphasized the importance of closely monitoring joint investment initiatives to ensure their success and agreed to continue working towards sustainable economic growth in both countries.
