Oman, 19 December, 2024 : Oman and the Republic of Belarus signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to strengthen collaboration in industrial cooperation, standards, conformity assessment, and accreditation.
The agreements aim to exchange expertise, promote knowledge-based industries, support joint investments, and enhance the movement of industrial goods. They also focus on sharing information on national standards and technical regulations to facilitate trade.
The MoUs were signed by Omani Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion Qais Mohammed Al Yousef and Belarusian officials Maxim Ryzhenkov, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Alexander Efimov, Minister of Industry.
The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials and diplomats from both nations, highlighting the mutual commitment to fostering economic and industrial ties.
