Kuwait and US Strengthened Economic and Strategic Cooperation

Kuwait, 31 December, 2024 : Kuwait’s Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, Noora Al-Fassam, held discussions with US Ambassador to Kuwait, Karen Sasahara, on advancing cooperation in trade, finance, technology, and investments.

The meeting, highlighted in a press statement on Sunday, focused on fostering strategic partnerships across various sectors and deepening economic ties between the two nations. Both sides emphasized the importance of expanding bilateral investments and leveraging shared interests to drive growth and innovation.

Al-Fassam commended the significant contributions of US companies in supporting Kuwait’s economic development and implementing key projects. She noted their role in advancing the "New Kuwait 2035" vision, aimed at transforming Kuwait into a leading regional economic hub.

The discussions reinforced the strong historical and strategic relationship between Kuwait and the US, setting the stage for further collaboration in achieving mutual economic goals.
